DONATION TO GBESSOU SCHOOL COMPLEX- 17/03/2023

Were on the spot : KPATENON C.S.Wilfried : president, HOUNKPEGAN Casmir: vice-president, TANKPINOU Hervé A : general secretary, KOUGBE Yves : general treasurer, HOUSSA Angèle : assistant treasurer.


Held on Friday, March 17, 2023, the donation ceremony was for the benefit of the Gbessou School Complex in the district of houédo-aguékon municipality of de Sô-Ava.The lots were composed of:

  1. A copy machine brand Kyocera ECOSYS M3540idn - Multifunction printer - Black and white.

  2. A laptop brand Acer Aspire 5349-2481 series, HAD 500 GB, Ram 4GB, autonomy 2 hours and charger.

  3. A 2000w electric voltage regulator from NEON brand.

  4. A cardboard of 500 ram paper.

  5. A bag of kyocera BN ink.

  6. A bag for the Pc + a connector cable from the photocopier to the computer.


The ceremony recorded the presence of many local authorities including the Head of the village of Gbessou Mr NONNOU Djèhoué, the members of the Association of Parents of Students APS and the teaching staff all wanted to express their gratitude and appreciation during the event.

On this occasion, the President of the NGO Solidarity Fenou Mr KPATENON C.S.Wilfried and the secretary general Mr TANKPINOU Hervé A. recalled after the presentation of the delegation,the genesis of the NGO S.F its objectives and the project to support the schooling and maintenance of Gbessou children in the educational system launched by the NGO S.F before proceeding to the delivery of computer equipment to the two directors of the complex namely Mr DOKA K. Augustin and Mr HOUNYE Christian, expressing their joy that soon the schoolchildren of the school will enjoy the fruits of this offering.


For their shares, the two directors of the complex Mr DOKA K. Augustin and Mr HOUNYE Christian felt that this action will remain unforgettable forever for the beneficiaries.


« These materials will allow both the entry of exercises, evaluation activities to be submitted to learners, but also the multiplication of non-existent teaching aids (French and mathematics manual, guides etc...) and other profit-making activities for its maintenance » pointed out Mr HOUNYE Christian director of Group B.

In his intervention, the head of the village sent his heartfelt thanks to the NGO Solidarity Fenou for choosing his village among so many other centers and associations in need and praised the gesture of humanity that the NGO S.F has made for the benefit of the students of the Gbessou complex. According to him, this action is the witness that the NGO S.F pays particular attention to the development of the children of the village. He concluded his remarks by formulating a main complaint concerning the layout of the canteens.


In the same vein, the president of the parents of students and the women of the village expressed all their appreciation for the gesture of the NGO Solidarity Fenou which will allow the beneficiaries, for a while, to provide for their multiple needs. They ended by urging the NGO S.F to intervene with other categories of vulnerable people such as women, injured people etc…


Serving as close as possible to the communities, listening to the needs of the most vulnerable and providing adequate responses with commitment and dedication are the key words of the commitment of the NGO S.F. The operationalization of this activity contributes to the consolidation of trust between the members of the NGO S.F engaged and the populations they have come to serve.
